R. Wesley Tink

Rev. R. Wesley Tink has been leading nonprofit organizations for the past 25 years and has been the Executive Director of Front Step Inc. of Philadelphia since September for 2015.  Originally from Canada, Wesley was in private business prior to choosing nonprofit leadership, moving from success to greater significance.  Under his leadership, Front Step was restarted to focus on aiding children and youth to find equitable opportunities within very challenging environments.  Wesley is passionate about helping young people find freedom from societal fetters that impede educational, economic, relational and spiritual development.  Breaking the various cycles of poverty is best accomplished by applying age-old principles provided in scriptural sources.  It may be best summed up: “Honor God and God will honor you.”
