Rev. Sandra Collazo-Lopez, MS, MEd, RN
Sandra Collazo-Lopez is the Lead Servant Pastor at the First Church of the Nazarene of Philadelphia. Married to Miguel, a retired truck owner-operator. Mother of 3 adult daughters, all married. Called “Bela” (short for abuela-grandma) by her 4 grandchildren.
Sandra recently retired from her position as Director of Nursing for the Esperanza Health Centers overseeing all nursing, medical assisting staff, phlebotomists, and laboratories of all 3 of its locations in Northeast Philadelphia. She served a 5-year term as a board member for the Christian Community Health Fellowship and participated in several committees including diversity and inclusion, finance, and development. Sandra has a deep connection with urban communities, especially the underserved and marginalized.
Prior to becoming a pastor and nursing administrator, Sandra worked for 24 years as a Forensic Criminologist with ample experience in the military, local and federal law enforcement agencies both on the field and as a crime lab administrator. She is an experienced teacher with a master’s degree in education specializing in curriculum development. Sandra is passionate about serving, hospitality, family, and leading a life that reflects Christlikeness.
